API Documentation
Rate limits and pricing current as of September 1, 2026
The complete endpoint reference, schemas and integration guides are being published from our OpenAPI specification. Rate limits, pricing and access details are final and published here now. Questions in the meantime: api@callplaybook.com.
1Rate limits #
Limits apply per endpoint and per Client. They exist to protect platform stability, not to restrict your use. If you approach a limit in the normal course of business, we raise it where we reasonably can rather than throttle.
| Limit | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sustained | 3,600 requests / hour | Per endpoint, per Client |
| Burst | 100 requests / 10 seconds | Short spikes above the sustained rate |
| Increases | On request | Email api@callplaybook.com with your expected volume |
Do not work around limits with multiple credential sets or distributed requests. See API Terms, Section 6 (Rate Limits and Fair Use).
2Pricing #
| Item | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Included allowance | 50,000 calls / month | No charge |
| Additional calls | $0.0015 / call | Invoiced monthly |
| MCP tool calls | $0.0015 / call | Counted and billed the same as API calls |
| Webhooks | Free | Subscriptions and deliveries are not counted or billed |
| Sandbox | Free | Testing usage is not counted or billed |
Rate changes carry sixty (60) days' written notice. See API Terms, Section 4 (Fees).
3Getting access #
Credentials are issued per Client and per environment. Sandbox and production credentials are separate. Requesting credentials or using the API means you accept the API Terms of Use.
4Endpoint reference #
The full reference will cover these resources over REST and the MCP server.
